The new Dallas Dancewear is located in central Flower Mound. The store was originally located in Grapevine Mills Mall under different ownership. When Lauren Goffredi, a local dance mom and former dance instructor, heard that the store was up for sale, she jumped at the opportunity to become part of a different section of the dance world: retail sales. Lauren moved the store to her own town of Flower Mound and opened the new Dallas Dancewear in February of 2009.

Since the opening of the new store, Lauren has made strides working with local dance studios, drill teams and colorguards making group and individual ordering an easy experience.

Lauren Goffredi grew up dancing with the New Jersey School of Ballet, studying ballet and tap. Since then, she has taught a variety of different classes around the Flower Mound area to children of different ages. Lauren's favorite form of dance is tap, and she still takes tap master classes whenever possible.

Lauren has three college-aged daughters, Jacquie, Hillary, and Kelli. All three girls have taken dance classes throughout their lives, and all three continue to take classes whenever possible.

Hillary Hibner is the daughter of Dallas Dancewear's owner, Lauren Goffredi. Hillary began working at her mother's store when it opened in 2009. Like her mother, Hillary's favorite form of dance is tap, which she has been practicing since the age of 3. She currently has very little time to take classes between working at the store and studying accounting at the University of North Texas. She does, however, enjoy taking tap classes when she does have free time.
